Nobody would believe this has actually happened. A 10-year-old boy jumps to his death from a 30-storey building after a teacher told him to. The victim, named as Jun Jun, has been ordered to write “Dui Bu Qi” (Sorry in mandarin) for a 1,000 times by his teacher, Miss Chen, for talking in class. A textbook was found after the incident and all his wrote was “Teacher, I can’t do it”, along with “I flinched several times when I tried to jump from the building.”
The parents of Jun Jun left devastated when they found out they have lost their son.
As China runs the one-child policy to control its population, Jun Jun was likely the only child for the couple.
This tragedy is happened in Chengdu, Sichuan province of China. Jun Jun jumped from a 30-floor building and landed on a parked car outside the residential building.
This 10-year-old boy commits suicide following his teacher’s order for not completing a task he was set.
A banner outside of Jun Jun’s school was put up. It literally means “Teacher forces student to jump from building”.
A campaign was launched to against the pressure given to students in school after the tragedy. The teacher who involved in the tragedy was demanded to be sacked too.
