On Wednesday, 12 August 2015, there are at least two fiery explosions occurred at the Port of Tianjin in the Binhai New Area of Tianjin, China. Both the explosions occurred within just 30 seconds. Due to uncontrolled fire, there are eight additional explosions occurred after the first two explosions. The current death toll of the explosions reaches 112 and more than 90 people are still missing. Nearly one thousand people were homeless result from the explosions.
According to Chinese state media, the initial blast was from unknown hazardous materials in shipping containers.
The first blast occurred at about 11:30pm local time. The second blast occurred just 30 seconds later.
According to the local news, more than 700 people were injured by the explosions including firefighters and policemen. Thousands of people are homeless.
Debris continues to burn following the huge blasts of a warehouse in Tianjin.
The overpowering explosions burn thousands of cars and shattered building windows around the same area.
Thousands of people were forced to sleep in emergency shelters.
What is exactly stored in the warehouse remain unknown.
As of Sunday morning, more than 50 people who trapped by the fiery explosions have been rescued in Tianjin.
A 19-year-old firefighter lay on the ground for hours with burns was rescued.
A cracked skull was found.
